JIANG Jiehong
Professor Jiang Jiehong is Head of Research at School of Art, Director of the Centre for Chinese Visual Arts, Birmingham City University, and Principal Editor of theJournal of Contemporary Chinese Art (Intellect), and he serves as Panel Member for the Humanities and Arts, the Hong Kong Research Grants Council since 2018. Jiang has been Lead Curator for many international exhibitions including the Guangzhou Triennial: the Unseen (2012), the Asia Triennial Manchester: Harmonious Society (2014), The Shadow Never Lies (Shanghai Minsheng Art Museum, 2016), the First Thailand Biennale: Edge of the Wonderland (Krabi, 2018-19) and This Is Shanghai (a partner exhibition of the 10th Liverpool Biennial, 2018). Jiang’s book publications include Burden or Legacy: from the Chinese Cultural Revolution to Contemporary Art (Hong Kong University Press, 2007), The Revolution Continues: New Art from China (Saatchi Gallery and Jonathan Cape, 2008), Red: China’s Cultural Revolution (Jonathan Cape, 2010), An Era without Memory: Chinese Contemporary Photography on Urban Transformation (Thames and Hudson, 2015), The Art of Contemporary China (Thames and Hudson, 2021) and The Otherness of the Everyday: 12 Conversations from the Chinese Art World during the Covid-19 Pandemic (Intellect, 2021). Jiang is a member of the Artistic Advisory Panel of the CFCCA.
姜节泓教授现为英国伯明翰城市大学艺术学院研究总监，中国视觉艺术中心主任，英国学术刊物《中国当代艺术研究》（Intellect）主编。他曾担任重要国际当代艺术展的主策展人，其中包括第四届广州三年展主题展《 见所未见》（2012），第三届曼彻斯特亚洲三年展主题展《 天下无事》（2014），首届泰国双年展《仙境的边缘》（甲米，2018-19），以及第十届利物浦双年展合作展览《这里是上海》（利物浦，2018）；并在国内主持策划了许多大型主题展，其中包括《今天重做》《真实的假像》（上海二十一世界民生美术馆，2016），《今天重做》（上海民生美术馆，2016），《遥不可知：来自英国的当代艺术》和《何人说梦：来自挪威的当代艺术》（上海OCAT，2016，2019）。他的英文书著包括《负担或遗赠》（香港大学出版社，2007）、《革命在继续：来自中国的新艺术》（萨奇画廊，2008）、《红》（蓝灯书屋，2010），《没有记忆的时代：城市变迁中的中国当代摄影》（Thames and Hudson，2015），以及新近出版的《当代中国的艺术》（Thames and Hudson，2021）和《日常有别：疫情间来自中国艺术世界的十二场对话》（Intellect，2021）。
姜节泓目前在伯明翰艺术学院主要负责艺术类博士和博士后的指导。同时，他具有极其广泛的硕士任教经验，受许多国内重要艺术院校聘任为客座教授，包括中国美院、广州美术学院和清华大学美术学院等。姜节泓注重跨学科实践和跨文化研究，他的教学不仅借他自身研究兴趣在当代艺术和策展领域中独树一帜，同时也设计广泛的设计类专业，比如视觉传达、首饰设计和传统手工艺等。
